SENIOR SECTION 2016
Welcome to the Seniors Section of Silverstone Golf Club where we aim to promote golfing competitions,
and social activities for all members who are aged 55 and over.
At Silverstone we believe that we have something really special to offer to all our new members
with regular competitions on Wednesdays and friendly rollups on Mondays and Fridays.
All our weekly competitions are drawn which means that you are always meeting new people.
We also have very enjoyable away days to other courses plus matches against 11 other local clubs,
all of our matches are open to all seniors with selection based on willingness to play not ability.
You are assured of a friendly welcome at all of our weekly competitions with the opportunity of
coffee and a bacon roll coupled with friendly banter before embarking on the challenges of the course.
The success of the seniors section is built upon the willingness of all our members to support each other.
